Armenian Association of Minimally Invasive Brain and Spine Surgery

The Armenian Association of Endoscopic Spine and Brain Surgery was founded in 2015. Its establishment was sparked by a landmark visit from members of the Supreme Council of the World Association of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, who traveled to Armenia at our invitation. With their participation, the Armenian Association of Endoscopic Spine Surgery was officially formed, later expanding and reorganizing into the Armenian Association of Endoscopic Spine and Brain Surgery.

The Association brings together neurosurgeons, neurologists, anesthesiologists, and allied medical specialists from Armenia and abroad whose professional work centers on minimally invasive and endoscopic management of brain and spinal disorders, as well as comprehensive pain management.

Our Association has made a significant contribution to introducing and advancing several endoscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques in Armenia. Furthermore, we were among the pioneers to collaboratively implement spine and spinal cord simulation training programs in the country.

Dedicated to scientific research and ongoing professional education, the Association offers specialized training courses that enable neurosurgeons to deepen their expertise in endoscopic and stereotactic surgery.
